Milia and Blackhead Removal
For some people Milia can clear up naturally, but this can take months. For quicker results, our qualified specialists are able to extract and treat the area, as well as giving any advice to help prevent any re-occurrence. Depending on the amount of milia and the time taken to extract, our specialist may choose to perform a microdermabrasion treatment afterwards, to further deep clean the skin.
Black heads are small bumps that appear on your skin due to clogged hair follicles. These bumps are called blackheads because the surface looks dark or black. Blackheads are a mild type of acne that are commonly formed on the face, but they can also appear on the back, chest, neck, arms and shoulders.
How can they be treated?
We offer extraction services for both blackheads and milia, which involves
using a needle to break the surface tension and allow for easy extraction.
After these treatments you may have some redness, which will usually fade after
just 24 hours of the treatment.
However, for some, you may experience breakouts and prolonged redness
after treatment but this should usually resolve within 10 days.
